Getting a Meadow is Like Getting a Puppy: What Nobody Tells You About Garden Dreams with Jenks Farmer | Through stories and slides of both triumphs and spectacular failures, Jenks reveals the dirty, muddy, weedy truth behind popular garden trends. His candid lessons and critiques might bring a laugh but they are serious pleas for less commercialism and more ecology in our landscapes. 

He describes his new book "Secrets of Southern Gardening" as "sort of a Hort 101 textbook with 30 years of BS crossed out and as many notes added in the margins.” The book and this presentation will be candid reset as we close out the summer and make fall and garden plans.
